We love to talk about elimination about as much as we love to talk about prostate problems. However, for arthritis sufferers, elimination is ultra important and I’m just the person to talk about it.
Arthritis sufferers can have a double whammy; exercise may be painful and they may be overweight. We do need to overcome both those problems. The exercise is a chicken and egg situation and it can be overcome. It must be overcome. You need to eliminate waste and toxins from your body on a daily basis.
It is absolutely essential that arthritis sufferers take exercise. You don’t need to run a marathon and you don’t need to contort your body to pretzel shape. Not at all. You start while sitting in your chair or lying in your bed. Stretch your arms out. Stretch your feet out. An inch at a time is fine. If you’re in bed, extend your arms upward. Don’t worry if you can’t stretch much. A little bit every day has a huge cumulative effect. Stretch your legs to reach the bottom of your bed. It’s the idea of the stretch here that will help you on your way. You are going to reap benefits from this micro system. Eventually, you’ll stretch with ease and move on to standing and stretching and standing and turning your body from right to left. You will have such joy of movement that you’ll start walking a little. Remember, every little bit helps. And your body appreciates every movement, however small.
Every week I get e mails asking me which brand of laxative I recommend. That’s easy. Do not buy or use laxatives. All laxatives are bad. No exceptions. I don’t care if it’s called stool softener or warm and fuzzy comfort aid. It’s all bad. Do not take laxatives. I’m going to show you how to avoid and ignore laxatives and how to achieve a strong degree of comfort in the elimination of toxins and waste.
Our grandparents ate prunes for breakfast. Prunes are nature’s perfect laxative. Nowadays, we look at dried prunes and think they’re too much trouble to prepare. They’re not. Just put the number of prunes required into a bowl. Add hot water to cover. Leave overnight. Simple! Six prunes per person is about right. Prune juice is just as good. Buy your supermarket’s brand of prune juice. It’s much cheaper than the brand name and just as effective. Drink before breakfast.
Now for my personal favorite; Porridge. We call it oatmeal in the US. It’s the food of the gods and it’s such a great laxative. Buy old fashioned oats. Not rolled. Not sugared. Not quick cook. Plain old fashioned oats. The title is right on the container. Put half a cup of oats per person in a pot. Add one cup of boiling water per person. Add a little salt. Bring to the boil, stirring constantly. Simmer for six minutes or so. Continue to stir. Pour into bowls. Add cream or milk and sugar or honey to taste. So delicious! And works like a charm!
During the day, eat some fruit and a little green vegetables. Broccoli is ideal.
If you adjust your diet as recommended above, you will eliminate toxins and waste from your body every single day. And you’ll feel energized and healthy. It’s just that simple and it really works!
