In many ancient civilizations the lines of the forehead, just like those on your palm, are said to represent not only your past, but also the future. Whether you believe in foreheads that portend the future or not, is entirely up to your discretion. One thing however, is certain: lines on the forehead surely are a reminder of the ageing process. These include age spots, creases across the forehead, or high on the bridge of the nose, frown lines or furrows between the eyebrows, as well low and sagging brows that hood the upper eyelid .The first visible signs of aging are usually manifested in the face and neck, gravity and changes in eyebrow shape and loss of periorbital fat all contribute to an expression that is jaded, and elderly.

So, does your forehead tell your age?
So what if it does? Crows’ feet are reminders of laughter shared with friends and family, furrows between your brows reminiscent of hours spent squinting over books that transported you to different times and places, and age spots testimony to that one more chocolate, or that last drink….

However, if your face and expression are in contrast to your vibrant spirit and energy levels, and you are uncomfortable with the way you look, there are ways to refresh and rejuvenate your appearance.

There are many different surgical procedures including the forehead lift and the brow lift that improve the position and shape of the eyebrow and forehead areas, restoring a youthful appearance.

These procedures correct drooping eyebrows, remove facial lines and creases, and tighten the loose skin as well. Non surgical or laser skin resurfacing complete the rejuvenation by improving the clarity, texture, and general appearance of the skin.

An important thing to remember off course, as for any other surgical procedure, is that your surgeon can not work miracles. You must have realistic expectations from the surgical procedure regarding your appearance, and must maintain a positive outlook. Also, it is essential that you analyze for yourself the attendant risks and benefits of the procedure, as well as its cost effectiveness because cosmetic surgeries are not covered by insurance. Also, it is imperative that you check the credentials of your plastic surgeon, and make sure that you are comfortable and satisfied during your consultation.

The surgical procedures are usually carried out under general anesthesia or intravenous sedation, and involve a combination of repositioning, removal or augmentation of muscles and tissues via small incisions which are concealed in your hairline or within the natural crease of the upper eyelids.

Wound healing usually takes 5 to 10 days, and you can resume your normal activities at this time, using cosmetics to camouflage any swelling and bruising that remain. Healing continues over several weeks, with the swelling and incision lines fading to result in a younger and brighter appearance.
So, what if your forehead tells your age: with a little help, your forehead can lie about your chronological age, and help you look just as old as you feel!!!!!

Brain cancer risks increase with heavy exposure to pesticides, recent reports say. That's troubling news for states with large agricultural industries, like Texas, which not only employs millions of legal and illegal workers every year, but also has over 25% of its population going without health insurance.
