1The word stress` is defined by the Oxford Dictionary as "a state of affair involving demand on physical or mental energy".
A situation or circumstance (not always adverse), which can disturb the normal physiological and psychological performance of an individual. In medical parlance `stress` is defined as a perturbation of the body`s homeostasis.
This command on mind-body occurs when it tries to cope with nonstop changes in life. A `stress` condition seems `relative` in nature.
Extreme stress circumstances, psychologists say, are damaging to human health but in restraint stress is normal and, in many cases, proves useful. Stress, nonetheless, is synonymous with negative conditions.
Stress is the body's reaction to a physical, moving, social or mental condition imposed on the person. These changes, whether good or bad, produces tension or stress.
There is no way to keep away from stress totally, injuries, weddings, meetings, childbirth, deadlines, bills to pay, even leaving to a party is stressful.
Causes of Stress
1. Death: of spouse, family, friend
2. Health: injury, illness, pregnancy
