There are a lot of high school students graduating this spring and moving out of the house for the first time later this fall when they attend their first year at college. This is an exciting time of a young adult and on that can be full of rewarding experiences. But, experience has shown that most college students are not prepared to live on their own, especially when it comes to food.
The standard male college diet consists almost entirely of cold cereal and hot pockets. This is less than desirable for a maintaining a healthy physic and therefore this article has been designed to provide some real life common sense that will help immensely with the college diet.

First of all one of the things that you can do is form a dinner group. This is usually a group of five to ten people who live in your same apartment complex. The idea is that you all take a turn preparing one dinner meal a week. When it is your turn everyone comes over to your home for dinner on that night. Etc. This works well because it is often difficult to cook nice meals for just one person. It is much easier to cook for larger groups and in many respects is cheaper too. This will also provide a good social occasion so make sure there are only people that you can tolerate in the group.

The second thing that will make surviving college a lot easier is a good college level cook book. There are a lot of these out there and having one kicking around will give you the opportunity o make something that is really good in a hurry as that is what these books are designed around. You will be very surprised at how many recipes already involve top ramen so don't worry your primary food source will still be used.

The third thing that will help a lot is to plan regular trips to the grocery store. Often the reason that you don't make food at home is because you don't have any food at home. making a grocery shopping trip a regular part of your weekend routine will help you have food at least available and therefore will save you trips to the fast food restraints when you start getting the munchies. College is hard but with a little effort you can eat well.

Strength training uses resistance and muscular contraction in order to strengthen and build up the size and endurance of skeletal muscles. The most common forms of strength training are isometric training and resistance training, both of which use either gravity or elastic forces to get opposing muscular contractions. Strength training uses three different variants when describing exercises: intensity, volume and frequency.
