The basic things about the information is all of them are just theories as of now. Each and every day we get more information on fibromyalgia and its causes.
This isn't surprising to me, since fibromyalgia was only coined in the 1980s and even today, many supposed professionals in the medical community still don't recognize this disorder as anything other than "mental" in origin.
Most of these physicians hear this for the first time from my clients. Most of my clients report of long lasting pain, tiredness or the combination of both.
Apart from my clients their families are also affected by this. Just think even the simplest chores that needed to be carried out in the house needs planning.
Many believe that the brain gets extra sensitive to pain signals. What most of us miss in fibromyalgia can also cause unbearable pain. The reason for why this pain or tiredness occur is still mostly in theories.
What is the reason for this long lasting pain? Why does this happen? In a latest study conducted on sinusitis, it has been found that all chronic sufferers do had the symptom of fibromyalgia. Now many researchers say infection is also a major reason.
Other studies on hepatitis C, chronic Lyme disease and HIV also point to a much greater incidence of fibromyalgia.
Even Fifth's disease has made its way to the table. This is linked to mothers in close proximity to their children with full blown symptoms. With women reporting symptoms more than men, it does make one wonder what other infections could be passed from child to parent and then causing fibromyalgia.
Another report in theory is that injections used for certain diseases do carry the risk of getting fibromyalgia.
If all these theories come true, then one should understand that the body in the process of protecting itself from the condition becomes the attacker itself. What happens the signals in the brain gets crossed and the bosy starts attacking itself.
Even if the theories are proved right and infection emerges to be the cause of fibromyalgia, then the treatment done for the infection do not reduce the symptom of fibromyalgis.
Treatments which have shown promise include exercise (they need to be specific though, as some people with fibromyalgia report exercise to be a trigger to the pain), anti inflammatory drugs, anti-depressant drugs and anti-seizure medications.
Many of the medications has dangerous side effects, so many people are not willing to take medicines.
I highly recommend my all natural Fibromyalgia program. It has delivered relief of fibromyalgia symptoms to many of my clients and my hope is that it can help you as well!
