Yoga is a system of exercises which helps the mind as well as the body. It comes from the Indian history and has been introduced to every part of the world. Yoga opens the spiritual side of a person where one of the main aspects of yoga is to have a control on the inner self.

A high amount of positive energy gets into the body by doing yoga, where the mind refreshes and thinks in the rite direction. And positive energy is what does wonders in every day life. One can influence others with his positive thinking and goes on to the path of success.

Fitness relates to the fitness of mental and physical abilities of a person where yoga exactly targets both of them.

Meditation acts as one of the essential elements of human body which is not carried out today by most of the people but yoga provides the way to meditate. Meditation helps to improve the concentration power as well as keeps the mind on track.

In ancient India every student was made to meditate for hours in a day as it was believed that it really helped with the academic performance of a student.

Today the focus has totally changed where the students are often seeing partying late and not giving the body proper rest. The main hindrance in a man's life is the inability to have a control over the mind. Often one is tempted towards the other aspects of life and failures are seen in the end.

Yoga teaches a person to have a control over the mind which keeps on revolving around different things. Many great minds have said that no one can stop the one from success who can control his mind. Yoga is carried out without using any exercising equipment but is more effective than the fitness clubs as well.

Many people believe that yoga is only done by aged people but any one can easily loose weight and get a fit body by doing yoga regularly for about 45 minutes a day. It is said that yoga should be done in the early morning as it helps the body get fresh air which helps the body get a positive energy. Yoga increases the retaining power of the mind where a person can remember more where many people get the tendency of forgetting things over time.

Initially yoga should be done under the guidance but gradually can be carried out with the assistance as many books and CDs are available for yoga. The biggest benefit of yoga is that one gets to have a control over the body, mind and soul. Getting a control over the mind helps the person get more self confidence which helps one to excel in his field. So one can try yoga and get all the benefits mentioned above for self harmony and growth of the body.
