In order to apply tension to the muscles bodybuilders usually use training machines or equipments. The training equipments include; barbells, dumbbells, leverage machines, body weight exercise, and manual resistance. It is good to use various equipments when you are training since this serves to remove boredom as a result of the increased variety of equipments to use. If you are prone to using one equipment all the time you are going to get bored with the training very easily. In order to avoid the feeling of boredom when training, bodybuilders are advised to use various equipments when they are training.

In order to achieve our bodybuilding goals it is necessary to stimulate muscle growth. There are various equipments and free weights which are going to serve the purpose of stimulating muscle growth when you are in the gym. Apart from the bodybuilding tools, it takes a lot of commitment and dedication in your part to be able to succeed in bodybuilding. Your mindset plays a very important role in determining whether you are going to succeed in bodybuilding.

There are various advantages and disadvantages of all the equipments which are available in the market nowadays. The advantage of using free weights is that they are less costly and easily available. They also require less maintenance. Free weights such as barbells and dumbbells are also very versatile to work with, and you can manoeuvre them very easily when training. The barbell was a revolution to the way people exercise. Versatile implies that the barbells can't be used to undertake certain routine such as the leg curls. The use of free weights provides resistance in one direction which is straight down. The muscles on the other hand usually move in rotary motions and not in one direction. This therefore implies that some potion of the motions going to be very intense than the others. This is where training machines outdo free weights. When you train using training machines you will be capable of creating a balanced rotary resistance when you are lifting the weights.

If your training machine is very effective you will be capable of producing as much stress on the muscles as a free weight would. All you need when training with training machines is the skills and experience to know the right motions which are going to increase the tension felt by the muscles. When you train using training machines your body gets accustomed to the resistance very easily and responds by growing.

In the long run you get less fatigued as a result of training using free weights. There are various training routines which become hard to master especially if you are using free weights. Such routines are easy to master if you are training using training machines. For power lifters free weights are recommended since they increase the tension felt by the muscles. For great results however, a power lifter should use both free weights and training machines when training.
