What is health and fitness?
Physical health refers to the condition of your body and how it functions, while mental health refers to your thought processes and emotions. The term ‘fitness’ also refers to your health but more so to your physical condition.
How can I achieve good health and fitness?
Your health is affected by a wide range of factors that take place in your life. While you cannot alter the past, you can shape your future health and level of fitness. Good physical and mental health can be achieved through eating a healthy diet, regular exercise (physical activity), and having enough sleep and rest. Your ability to cope with life’s stresses and whether you choose to smoke, drink alcohol or use recreational drugs are also important.
